  • The easiest way to fundraise is online. Set up your own fundraising page with Just Giving here.
  • Share your page on your social media, it’s the best way to spread the word about your amazing fundraising. Be sure to tag Social Bite in your social media posts so your followers can learn even more about the cause. Find us on Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram.
  • Setting a target is an important first step – fundraising pages with targets have been proven to raise even more than those without a target. Kickstart your collection by making that first donation yourself too, it inspires others to donate when there’s a starting amount on there!
  • Not sure where to start? We’ve made an A-Z of ideas to help get you thinking.
  • If you are doing something you want to shout about, why not talk to your local media? Contact your local newspaper or radio station. Tell them you are raising money for Social Bite and mention what you are doing and how much you want to raise.
  • Hear all our Social Bite news to keep your supporters informed about what their donations are going towards by signing up to our email mailing list here.
  • If you’re paying in fundraising money and you haven’t spoken to us already, please email us to let us know you’re donating. We’d love to say thank you for your generosity.
  • If you’re raising money online with Just Giving or another online platform, this money comes to us automatically.
  • The best way to pay in any money you’ve raised in cash is here on our website. Make sure to leave a message to tell us what your fundraising is from when you’re completing the online form.
  • You can pay by BACS transfer, please contact us so we can provide you with our bank details.
  • You can send a cheque (made payable to Social Bite Fund) to us here: Social Bite Fund, 1 Leith Walk, Edinburgh, EH6 8LN.
  • If you’re raising funds in person and not using an online page, we recommend using this Sponsorship form. This will help you keep track of any donations you receive and will make it easy for you to thank everyone who supported you. Those that are a UK Taxpayer can tick the gift aid box which will allow Social Bite to reclaim 25p on every £1 that is donated.
