Malcolm is a Partner and Head of Charities at Shepherd and Wedderburn. He brings more than 30 years’ experience in the regulation, governance and administration of charities in Scotland. Reflecting on his new position, Malcolm said, “I’m excited to be joining the team at Social Bite. I believe in tackling inequality where it arises, and I see Social Bite as providing a vitally important role in ending homelessness in our society”.

Graeme is Non-Executive Chair of the Board of Directors with Softcat, who has been a staunch supporter of the charity over many years and brings impressive business acumen. On his new role as trustee, Graeme commented, “I’m passionate about charitable causes, including Social Bite’s work to end homelessness. Josh Littlejohn is an inspirational leader and I’m looking forward to helping where I can.”

Andrew said, “I’m delighted in the appointment of Malcolm and Graeme to the Board of the Social Bite Fund. Their skill and experience further strengthen the capacity of the Board, underpinned by a deep commitment to the purpose of the charity.”

“It’s great to have Malcolm and Graeme join as trustees,” Josh commented. “Malcolm’s invaluable legal and charitable expertise and Graeme’s extensive experience in governance and fast-growing businesses will help Social Bite grow and progress our mission.”

Alongside Andrew, Malcom and Graeme join William Gorol, Managing Director of triSaaS, and Katie Crook, former People Director at Business Stream and Dobbies Garden Centres. This year, the Board will work with Social Bite’s Social Impact Team to create an Advisory Group. The Group will bring the views of people in a situation of homelessness to advise the Board, provide insights and inform decision making.
