Festival of Kindness hits one million milestone

Through our housing and employment programmes, people go on to build their confidence, learn new skills and break the cycle of homelessness. That’s why Festival of Kindness means a lot to us at Social Bite, and a lot to the people we support.

Celebrating Two Years of Jobs First – Support Worker Joanna reflects on the programme

Today marks two years since the launch of Social Bite’s innovative Jobs First programme. In Jobs First, we work with some of the UK’s largest employers to match candidates from a homeless background to appropriate vacancies. A Social Bite support worker continues to work with both employer and employee to provide wrap-around support over a 15-month period; empowering the Jobs First employee to transform their own life.
