Skye is no limit for Sarah-Jane

Living in the Western Isles hasn’t prevented Sarah-Jane Reid from participating in Social Bite’s mass fundraising sleep out events over the years. Hogmanay clean up

After the bells had chimed 12 on Edinburgh’s Hogmanay  and most people were thinking about heading home, a group of about 30 people were getting ready to begin their work, the full extent of which became visible only as the streets cleared of people, revealing the litter and detritus left behind. Over 150 people in tenancies thanks to Scotland’s Housing First Pathfinder

A report released today shows that Scotland’s Housing First Pathfinder has created more than 150 tenancies. Each represents an opportunity for someone to end their homelessness and receive support and encouragement to build and live their lives. Housing First provides ordinary, settled housing as a first response for people whose homelessness is compounded by other disadvantages and experiences. The Housing …
