We’re proud to share that our partnership with Mitchells & Butlers has won both Business of the Year and Mid-Term Partnership at the Business Charity Awards. These awards recognise the strength of a long-term collaboration that began with a simple pay-it-forward campaign in 2020 and has grown into a UK-wide movement helping people break the cycle of homelessness.

Together, Social Bite and Mitchells & Butlers have built a transformational partnership focused on food, jobs and homes. Support from colleagues, guests and suppliers across the business has helped scale this work in communities across the UK, showing what is possible when business is used as a force for good:

  • 39 people supported into meaningful employment through our Jobs First programme
  • More than 50,000 colleagues and millions of guests engaged across 1,700 venues
  • An incredible almost £3 million raised so far
  • Impact delivered through food, jobs and homes programmes in more than 300 communities across the UK, including support to build Social Bite Villages and expanding our work into new geographies. 

We’re hugely grateful to Mitchells & Butlers, and to every colleague, guest and supplier who has helped further the movement to end homelessness. These awards are a celebration of what we’ve achieved together so far. Here’s to the lasting change that partnership can create.
